Job summary

Goldbelt Apex LLC is seeking an experienced Scientific Data Analyst (Surveillance) to support the Defense Health Agency's Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE). This role focuses on analyzing behavioral health and healthcare datasets, developing dashboards and executive reports, and supporting decision-making with advanced analytical techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing healthcare and behavioral health datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics, and executive-level reports.
• Experience supporting surveillance, epidemiology, population health, healthcare operations, or research initiatives.
• Experience integrating and validating data from multiple systems or databases.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust and CAC.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large behavioral health, healthcare, and surveillance datasets to identify trends, patterns, and emerging issues affecting military populations.
• Support psychological health surveillance initiatives through data collection, validation, analysis, and interpretation.
• Develop dashboards, data visualizations, executive reports, and briefing materials that communicate analytical findings to Government leadership.
• Perform data quality assessments and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of analytical products.
• Support development and maintenance of surveillance metrics, performance indicators, and reporting methodologies.
• Collaborate with researchers, statisticians, epidemiologists, clinicians, and Government stakeholders to support ongoing behavioral health research and surveillance initiatives.
