Job summary

Analytica is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The role involves delivering qualitative and quantitative analytics to inform DHA leadership decisions, working with MHS data, and engaging with both technical teams and subject matter experts.

The position is hybrid with a weekly on-site requirement in Bethesda, MD. We value collaboration with government clients, strong communication, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Military Health System (MHS) data, including systems such as M2, MDR, or similar healthcare data repositories.
• At least 1 year of experience creating and maintaining dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting stakeholders or program leadership.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, R, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets from multiple MHS data sources to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into data-driven insights.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Support recurring reporting and ad-hoc data requests from DHA leadership.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and reporting procedures.
