Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC seeks a Scientific Data Analyst (Surveillance) to support the Defense Health Agency's PHCoE. You will analyze behavioral health and surveillance data, develop dashboards, and produce reports for government leadership to inform policy and program decisions.

Work with researchers, epidemiologists, and analysts to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, ensuring data quality and compliance with privacy and government data management policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience analyzing healthcare, behavioral health, or public health data.
• Experience developing dashboards and executive-level reports.
• Experience supporting surveillance or research initiatives.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust and CAC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large behavioral health, healthcare, and surveillance datasets to identify trends and issues.
• Support psychological health surveillance initiatives through data collection, validation, analysis, and interpretation.
• Develop dashboards, data visualizations, executive reports, and briefing materials for government leadership.
• Perform data quality assessments and ensure integrity of analytical outputs.
• Support development and maintenance of surveillance metrics and reporting methodologies.
• Collaborate with researchers, statisticians, epidemiologists, and government stakeholders to support research and surveillance.
• Analyze healthcare utilization and population health data to support strategic planning and policy.
• Develop reproducible analytical workflows using appropriate software.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations, and data summaries for contract deliverables.
• Assist in integrating data from multiple sources for comprehensive surveillance.
