Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a SURTASS Mechanical Engineer in San Diego, CA to support Naval SURTASS-E programs.

The role involves machining, fabrication, and installation of electrical wiring per installation drawings, with a focus on precision and adherence to drawings and procedures. Qualified candidates must hold an active secret clearance, have an associate's degree, and at least four years in machining, fabrication, or naval engineering environments, with CAD/CAM and 3D printing

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance is required.
• Associate's degree from an accredited university required.
• Four years of experience in machining, fabrication, mechanical repair, or related environments.
• Two years of CAD/CAM, drafting, or 3D printing experience.
• Two years of welding, fabrication, or metal repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Machining, fabrication, and repair of equipment and fixtures.
• Operate CNC and manual machines and precision shop tools.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide work.
• Maintain safety standards and document production activities.
