Job summary

Veterinary Care & Specialty Group (VCSG) in Chattanooga, TN seeks an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team. You will support surgeons and boarded specialists, monitor anesthesia, and assist with complex diagnostics while educating families who love their patients.

This hands-on role requires orthopedic and soft tissue surgery knowledge, sterile technique, and the ability to work across departments in a fast-paced hospital.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technicians preferred.
• 2-3 years of veterinary technician experience (specialty experience strongly preferred).
• Availability for some holidays and weekends.
• On-call shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support surgeons and boarded specialists to provide high‑level patient care.
• Monitor anesthesia and sedation throughout procedures.
• Obtain and handle samples for advanced diagnostics.
• Maintain sterile technique and organize surgical instruments.
