Qualifications

• 1-2 years of anesthetic monitoring in a veterinary setting.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary anesthetic drugs and their effects.
• Skilled in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and drug calculations.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to detail, especially during critical moments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for anesthesia procedures.
• Induce and maintain anesthesia and sedation.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Keep detailed records of anesthetic procedures.
• Collaborate on anesthesia protocols and patient status.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment.
• Advocate for patient well-being before, during, and after procedures.
