Veterinary Technician Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting veterinarians in surgical and anesthetic procedures
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after anesthesia
  • Preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment
  • Leading, training, and mentoring veterinary technicians and assistants
  • Ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Coordinating surgical schedules and workflow for efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Certified/licensed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in surgery and anesthesia
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and support team members
  • Detail-oriented with excellent patient care standards
