Santa Fe College is seeking a nine-month Assistant Professor for the Surgical Technology program to promote student success through quality instruction and real-world learning experiences. The role will develop and teach coursework in anatomy, pharmacology, surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and clinical practicum across various formats.

Located primarily at the Northwest Campus, with potential assignments at other SF locations and day/evening/online teaching options.

Qualificações

• Faculty/instructional staff must be effective in teaching and knowledgeable in the designated content area.
• Graduate of an education program in Surgical Technology accredited by a national accrediting agency; credential in Surgical Technology through a national certifying body.
• Minimum two years of operating room scrub experience or instructional experience in Surgical Technology within the past five years.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction to didactic, laboratory and classroom settings.
• Support and promote SF College's teaching mission through quality instruction and service.
• Collaborate with Chairs and peers to evaluate and develop curriculum.
• Demonstrate technological literacy and innovation in instruction delivery.
• Maintain office hours proportionate to instructional assignment.
• Ensure documentation of student progress and compliance with college policies.
