Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions for operations.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and assists the surgical team.
• Assembles sterile and non-sterile equipment and ensures it is functioning properly.
• Gets patients ready for surgery, transports to the operating room, and assists with positioning.
• Monitors patient vital signs and passes instruments to surgeons and assistants.
• Helps in post-operation recovery and restocks the operating room.
