Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room. You will anticipate surgeon needs, prepare supplies and meds, and contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency.

Full-time, day shift. The role emphasizes teamwork with physicians and staff to ensure top quality patient care and cost containment, within a faith-based health care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
• Technical/Vocational School; Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement.
• State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.
• Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and communicates with the circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintains high standards and quality to support cost savings and containment.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and medications prior to procedures.
• Supports satisfaction activities and maintains good relationships with staff and physicians.

Job Description:

Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed throughout a procedure. Maintains high standards and quality in facilitating cost savings and containment. Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure. Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff; and responds to complaints in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
