Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program.
• Active certification from AST, NCCT or NBSTA is required.
• Maintains active certification throughout employment.
• 0-1 year of surgical technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon, RN, and anesthesiologist in patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as instrument assistant and support circulating duties as directed.
• Operate under supervision of a registered nurse in a dynamic surgical environment.
