UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will assist the surgeon, nurses, and anesthesiologist, delivering direct patient care before, during and after procedures.

You will function as an instrument assistant and may serve as circulating assistant under RN supervision; eligibility requires graduation from recognized program and active AST/NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Responsibilities

FTE: .90 (3-12's shifts)

Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required: Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required: AST (Association of Surgical Technologists), NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing). Required to maintain activecertification.
