UF Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will assist the surgeon, registered nurse and anesthesiologist, delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery, acting as instrument assistant and, under supervision, as circulating assistant.

Schedule: .60 FTE (24 hours/week) with night shifts and variable days. Previous graduation from a recognized surgical technologist program is required.

Responsibilities

In this role the Surgical Technologist responsibilities are to assist as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery. Function as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse.
