This position has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. This position has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. There are multiple service lines the surgical technologist will scrub to include cardiovascular, neurosurgery, general surgery, robotics, orthopedics trauma, sports medicine, total joints, plastics, urology, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology and podiatry. Education Qualifications* Associate's Degree Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program, 6 months surgical tech experience in lieu of education.
