Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Surgical Suite under direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician. The role requires graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologists program and 1 year of experience is preferred.

American Heart Association BLS certified and NBSTSA credential (or equivalent) are required. Mon-Fri schedule with on-call nights and weekends; annual 15 hours of continuing education are

Qualifications

• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential (NBSTSA or equivalent) or other recognized credentialing is required.
• Mon-Fri with on-call nights/weekends; 15 hours of continuing education annually to remain qualified in NJ.
