Job summary

Carle Health is seeking skilled Surgical Technicians to join our Operating Room team in Illinois. We offer flexible shifts and sign-on incentives for full-time and part-time roles, with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

As part of the perioperative team under RN supervision, you will provide aseptic care, assist with instrument handling, and help ensure safe, efficient intraoperative patient care across multiple procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Surgical Technology credential required.
• Certification or education equivalence accepted as substitute where noted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures per protocol.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure instrument readiness.
• Assist with patient positioning and room turnover efficiently.
• Perform sterilization and instrument processing per policy.
• Support perioperative team and adhere to safety standards.
