Carle Health is seeking skilled Surgical Technicians to join the Operating Room team in central Illinois. The role supports perioperative care under RN supervision, scrubbing and passing instruments, and ensuring sterile technique for intraoperative procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Surgical Technology certificate is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and asepsis during procedures.
• Scrubs and assists with instrument setup and passing instruments.
• Coordinates supplies and equipment to maintain efficient operations.
• Ensures safe patient positioning and assists with turnover of OR rooms.
• Performs sterilization and documentation per policy.
