Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Outpatient Surgery Center. This onsite role offers 40 hours per week across 4x10-hour shifts, with no call, weekends, or holidays. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 referral bonus.

The incumbent will provide intraoperative care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring sterile technique and instrument readiness throughout procedures. Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
• Surgical Technologist certification is required.
• Previous OR experience is preferred.

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist is an important member of the Surgery team responsible for providing intraoperative care to the surgical patient, and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
