Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Tech.
• Current CST certification required (CST or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification required (AHA).
• Active Colorado state license required (must be currently active).

Responsibilities

• Use aseptic technique in varying situations.
• Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening.
• Maintain sterility while opening sterile items for procedure.
• Anticipate the need for supplies and equipment.
• Check supplies for outdates, restock operating room, and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
• Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to the surgeon.
• Help apply dressings and prepare/preserve specimens for testing.
• Operate sterilizers and run tests to validate sterilization of surgical instruments.

Immediate need for a talented Surgical Technologist / Scrub Technologist / OR Tech. This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Vail, CO(Onsite).

Pay Range: Weekly Gross Pay: $2,250.00(subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Shift: Days – 4x8-hour shifts per week

Expected Hours: 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
