Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Technologist / OR Tech for a 13-week contract in Vail, CO (onsite). The role requires CST certification, BLS, and an active Colorado license, with 1 year of recent experience.

Typical duties include aseptic technique, maintaining sterility, assisting surgeons, and managing instrument sterilization. The position offers 32 hours per week across four 8-hour days with no holiday coverage required, and it’s located in

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Tech.
• Current CST certification required (CST or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification required (AHA).
• Active Colorado state license required (must be currently active).

Responsibilities

• Use aseptic technique in varying situations.
• Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening.
• Maintain sterility while opening sterile items for procedure.
• Anticipate the need for supplies and equipment.
• Check supplies for outdates, restock operating room, and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
• Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to the surgeon.
• Help apply dressings and prepare/preserve specimens for testing.
• Operate sterilizers and run tests to validate sterilization of surgical instruments.
