Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program.
• Preferred: Associate degree.
• Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Certifications: AHA BLS and Surgical Technology certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and set up equipment, instrumentation and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Pull cases as needed and break down cases at end of procedure; set up OR and supplies for following day.
• Available for call on assigned schedule as required by unit need.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
