Responsibilities include site preparation, instrument handling, specimen management, and on-call rotations with weekend/holiday coverage. Requires CST certification and completion of a specialty training program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program.
• Current certification as a CST or eligible under relevant regulations.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment, follow protocols, and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

• Adheres to universal precautions, assists with emergency procedures, and performs post-operative tasks like specimen collection and patient transport.
• Acts as a preceptor for students, ensures compliance with policies, and performs quality control activities.
• Supports billing processes and participates in on-call rotations, including responding promptly to emergencies.
