LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams by assisting during procedures across all age groups, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

The role involves clinical environment work with rotating shifts, on-call duties, and holiday rotations. It is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for ongoing learning and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification or eligibility under state law.
• Graduate of a specialty training program in surgical technology.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist during procedures across age groups and ensure patient safety and efficiency.
• Assist in treatment coordination, patient care, and equipment setup.
• Practice aseptic techniques and verify surgical site and supplies.
• Handle specimen identification, wound assessment, and sterile dressing application.
• Maintain universal precautions, manage emergencies, and participate in admissions/discharges.
• Perform billing, participate in on-call rotations, and act as a preceptor for students.

• Ensures medication labeling, quality control, and performs additional duties like specimen collection and patient transport.
