Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. You will support the surgical team by passing instruments, maintaining instrument counts, and ensuring a safe, efficient process aligned with Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements include a High-School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, English proficiency, and preferred completion of a Surgical Technology certificate or associate degree. Non-licensed candidates may be considered for some shifts.
Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
