Job summary

Lexington Clinic is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub for operative procedures under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. You will prepare and maintain supplies and equipment, and perform as a vital member of the surgical team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a surgical technician program or equivalent experience, and CPR certification during the probationary period. Reads, writes, and comprehends English fluently.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
• Certification preferred.
• CPR certification within probationary period.
• Reads, writes, speaks, and comprehends the English language.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and functions as a member of the surgical team.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
