Qualifications

• Completion of a surgical technologist training program.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Selects instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Prepares room for procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Scrubs for procedures, passes instruments, assists with surgeries.
• Ensures safe medication practices and specimen handling.
• Cleans rooms and maintains equipment per policies.
