Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program or approved military training.
• State TN CE requirements after July 1, 2013 (15 CEs annually) for BMHCC.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team by arranging sterile setup and passing items as needed.
• Assist in preparation of surgical suite and moving patients.
• Provide intraoperative care and utilize equipment based on patient needs.
• Demonstrate technical accountability and complete assigned goals.
• Participate in ongoing educational activities.
