Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for its Miami location to assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and nurses. The successful candidate will prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgeries, follow procedures to ensure patient safety, and assist with post-operative care.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and up to 2 years of clinical experience, coupled with a certification in CPR.

Qualifications

• Certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patient age.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Transports patients to the operating room and helps position them on the surgical table.
• Assists the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Cleans and restocks the operating room after procedures.
