• POD 3 is a 24/7 cardiac and transplant unit specializing in Transplant (heart, lung, liver, kidney), cardiothoracic, heart failure, vascular, endovascular, hepatobiliary, robotic transplants, thoracic and HPB robotic, Ventricular Device implants (Heart Failure program)
• Up to a $12,500 Sign-on Bonus

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room for surgery, reviews preference cards, gathers supplies and equipment, ensures cleanliness, and assists with sterile supplies.
• Performs surgical scrub duties, manages cultures and specimens.
• Assists in room turnover, returns supplies, instruments, and equipment to proper locations.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• <2 years or military equivalent experience

Supervisor Experience

• No Experience required

Preferred Requirements

• Accredited Surgical Program

Licenses & Certifications

• Surgical Technician certification
