Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital in Florida is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to support a busy operating room. Under supervision of surgeons and RNs, you will prepare sterile fields, pass instruments, count supplies, and maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during complex procedures.

Ideal candidates include graduates of an approved Surgical Technology program or military OR tech training, and CST/TS-C certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited through CAAHEP or ABHES.
• OR completion of a military surgical technology program.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist (TS-C or CST).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile setup, equipment checks and instrument counts.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures; maintain aseptic field.
• Prepare sterile packs, drapes, and specimen handling.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and instrument passing.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards in perioperative care.
• Ensure proper documentation and equipment counts after procedures.
