Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for our Operating Room team. The role involves circulating and assisting across a variety of surgical cases, under surgeon and RN supervision. You will maintain a sterile field, pass instruments, and support team safety and sterile processing.

The position requires OR training, BLS certification, and CST/TS-C or military credentialed background. Work days with on-call shifts and weekend requirements are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited through the CAAHEP or ABHES.
• OR completion of a military surgical technology program.
• OR certification as a Surgical Technologist (TS-C or CST).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative patient care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Follow perioperative guidelines as established by AORN.
• Review assignments and adapt to surgeon preferences and anesthesia.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety standards throughout procedures.
• Prepare sterile fields, assemble supplies, and count instruments.
• Assist with draping and instrument handling; ensure correct documentation.
