Join Tampa General Hospital as a Surgical Technologist - Part-Time - Cardiovascular Transplant Operating Room.
Under the supervision of medical and nursing staff, following policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, you will assist with surgical and endoscopy procedures, prepare and care for surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment before, during, and after procedures. You will also assist with cleaning, restocking, and processing of the surgical suite, instruments, and equipment as needed. It is essential to identify and report situations requiring intervention to the RN or Clinician. All duties should be performed in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications include graduation from a Surgical Technologist training program, active CST Certification from AST or NCCT, or completion of a Hospital-Based Surgical Tech Program, equivalent Military experience, and at least 1 year of working experience. Experience in CVTOR and/or Transplant is preferred.
This position requires being on call. The primary location is Tampa, at the TGH Main Campus. It is an on-site role, with scheduled days from Monday to Friday, during daytime hours (11:00-19:30) with a 5x8 shift plus call. The minimum salary offered is $22.03 per hour.
