Job summary

Baptist Health in Boca Raton is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Outpatient Surgery to prepare and monitor the sterile field under the surgeon and RN. This full-time role requires assisting during procedures and maintaining sterile technique in a busy surgical unit.

The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a 8:30 AM–7:00 PM schedule. A Surgical Technologist program, BLS certification, and preferred AST certification or equivalent experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Basic Life Support.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program Preferred.
• AST Certification (preferred) or minimum of 1 year (preferred) of extensive experience in the surgical setting as a surgical technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries. Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.
