Job summary

Baptist Health in Boca Raton is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the CVOR, Open Heart team, full-time, with daytime hours. You will prepare, organize and monitor the sterile field under the surgeon and RN, and assist as directed during procedures.

Qualifications include a Surgical Technologist program graduate, Basic Life Support certification, and either AST certification or 2+ years in Open Heart/Neurosurgery. A $15,000 signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Surgical Technologist program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• AST certification preferred or 2+ years in Open Heart/Neurosurgery/Hepatobiliary.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries.
• Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.
