Job summary

Resurgens Surgery Center in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician committed to excellent patient care. You will assist physicians during operative procedures, maintain sterile environments, and support the surgical team throughout the case.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Surgical Technician Certification Program, plus 1–2 years of experience. Orthopedic/Total Joint exposure strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Certification Program.
• 1–2 years experience as a Surg Tech in multiple specialties.
• Experience in Ortho/Total Joint strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively assists physician with operative procedures.
• Anticipates surgeon/physician needs during procedures.
• Maintains sterility of supplies and instruments during set up.
• Gowns and gloves surgeons and assistants.
• Counts sponges, needles, and instruments pre- and intra-operatively.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality per policy.
