Job summary

Hennepin County Medical Center is looking for several Surgical Technologists to join the OR team on a part-time basis in Minneapolis. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and supporting the surgical team. Candidates must have completed a Surgical Technologist program and hold CST certification. The position includes competitive pay and a variety of benefits, working 64 hours per pay period across various shifts, including day, evening, night, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program from an accredited institution, military training, or 2 years of experience.
• CST certification is required.
• A firm understanding of the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Select instruments, equipment, and supplies for each surgical procedure.
• Scrub for surgical procedures and assist the surgeon.
• Prepare the OR room and maintain sterile techniques.
• Assist in teaching responsibilities to residents and students.
• Support the operating room team as needed.
