The position requires certification eligibility in Surgical Technology or completed degree, plus experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting.

Qualificações

• Certification eligibility by ASCT through completion of a certificate/degree in Surgical Technology or ASCT experience requirements.
• At least 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist or comparable position in an acute care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Describe anatomy and steps for surgeries and assist with procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries and assist the surgical team.
• Collaborate with OR team and transports patients as needed.
• Demonstrate and support open communication among team members during procedures.
• Initiate and support teaching and mentoring within the surgical technologist program.
