Job summary

UNC Health Care seeks a Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team. The role provides and performs technical skills under physician or RN supervision, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for patients in surgery.

Responsibilities include coordinating OR supplies, maintaining PAR levels, and timely delivery of equipment. Minimum education includes a high school diploma and completed Surgical Technologist training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and completion of a Surgical Technologist training program.
• Three years of Surgical Technologist experience or three years managing data for purchasing/inventory systems.
• Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist OR team under physician or RN supervision.
• Coordinate planning, replenishment, and delivery of OR supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and optimize PAR levels in the Operating Room.
• Provide supplies to nursing staff in a timely manner.
