Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgeons by maintaining a sterile field, preparing instruments, and assisting in procedures to maximize patient safety. The role requires completing an accredited surgical technology program or military training with 3–5 years of experience and preferably CST certification.

Qualifications

Completion of an approved accredited surgical technology program or military training.
Three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated experience in field or profession preferred.
Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs surgical scrub and dons PPE, assists in gowning/gloving and sterile field setup.
Sets up instruments, supplies, and medications; performs counts per policy.
Assists in positioning patient and maintaining normothermia and comfort during procedures.
Operates sterilizers and equipment, passes instruments, and aids in specimen handling.
Carries out duties under surgeon direction; supports anesthesia and room turnover as needed.
All other duties assigned related to surgical procedures.
