Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be current with mandatory 15 hours annually of ST continuing education.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification with NBSTSA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the Operating Room for surgical cases and assists the surgical team.
• Maintains sterile field and adheres to safety standards in the surgical environment.
• Cleans and prepares rooms between procedures.

Skills

Ability to complete 15 hours of mandatory ST education annually

Knowledge of Heart Lung Machine

Understanding of CVOR technology procedures

Education

Successful completion of a Surgical Technology program

Surgical Technologist training in U.S. Armed Forces
