Wabash General Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support all areas of the surgical unit, central supply, and outpatient surgery. You will scrub cases, assist surgeons across multiple specialties, and maintain sterile technique while preparing instruments and supplies.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologists.
• Current Certification as CST.
• Current CPR certification.
• May be required to work any day of the week including holidays and weekends.
• Physical requirements include long periods of standing, lifting, stooping, bending, and pushing.

Aufgaben

• Scrubbing surgical cases and assisting in general, orthopaedic, spine, and ENT procedures.
• Setting up and maintaining sterile field and passing instruments.
• Cleaning, wrapping, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Assisting in admitting and discharging patients from surgical suite.
• Collecting and delivering specimens to the laboratory.
