Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso, Texas is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full‑time, rotating position. Expect 40 hours per week with 8‑hour shifts. The tech demonstrates scrub skills, maintains aseptic technique, sets up instruments and sterile supplies, and passes instruments during procedures.

Call coverage is required as scheduled. Education: graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program. Experience: preferred 1 year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience.
• Requires AHA BLS and Surgical Technology certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique, set up equipment and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures; pull and break down cases.
• Available for on-call on scheduled basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
