Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, seeks a Surgical Technician - OP Surg to join the OR team. The scrub technologist sets up sterile tables, passes instruments during procedures, maintains sterile technique, and supports circulating duties as needed.

Qualified candidates will have completed a surgical technology program, Washington Surgical Technologist Registration, BLS, and current experience as a surgical technologist; 2 years of OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a course in surgical technology.
• Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Current experience as a registered Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile table with instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon during the procedure.
• Maintain sterile technique and care for instruments after procedures.
• Assist in circulating duties as assigned and support turnover as needed.
