Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking Surgical Technologists to support operating room procedures under surgeon supervision. You will help ensure a safe OR environment, proper equipment function, and patient safety throughout the procedure.

Roles require completion of a surgical tech program or equivalent experience, CPR certification, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. The position is hourly, with pay ranges listed and location-specific factors affecting actual wages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of Surgical Tech program or 2 years minimum working in a Surgical Tech role.
• 2 years minimum in Surgical Technologist role if Surgical Tech program not completed.
• American Heart Association CPR (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon to facilitate safe and effective conduct of surgical procedures.
• Ensure operating room environment is safe and equipment functions properly.
• Notify patient care team of significant patient conditions as necessary.
