Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist 1 for intra-operative support in a 13-week assignment. The role requires 2 years of minimum experience, CST credential and BLS per AHA guidelines.

You will prepare the operating room, handle instruments, and assist the surgical team under RN supervision. Responsibilities include instrument setup, maintaining aseptic technique, performing counts, and ensuring instrument sterility and readiness.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum surgical tech experience required.
• Active BLS certification and CST credential.
• Knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique and infection control.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operative setup, instrument tables, and case preparation.
• Pass sterile supplies and assist with draping and positioning.
• Perform counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments per policy.
• Ensure instrument function and maintain OR cleanliness after cases.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.
