Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You will be responsible for supplying instruments, coordinating patient care with teammates, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Requirements include a high-school diploma or GED, a postsecondary certificate/associate degree in Surgical Technology, and BLS certification. Non-licensed/certified candidates may be considered at certain locations.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical instruments to the surgical team in the OR.
• Coordinate care of the surgical patient with the perioperative team.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in all procedures.
