Job summary

Qualifications include completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program within 1 year, CST certification, BLS, and 5 years of experience in a major service area.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program within 1 year of employment.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – as required at hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association at hire.
• 5 years of experience in a major service area (e.g., ortho, neuro, trauma, cardiac).

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced skills of the Surgical Tech I and is responsible for maintenance of equipment and systems, room turnover, case flow, cost containment and financial reimbursement.
