Qualifications

• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Licensed Colorado Surgical Technologist.
• Perform sterile technique and aseptic procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Apply sterile and aseptic technique according to standards.
• Maintain packaging and sterility of instruments.
• Ensure safe operating room environment and patient safety.
• Monitor sterile field and take corrective action.
• Assist with patient transports and room turnover.
• Maintain currency in new technologies and procedures.
• Prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Adhere to Time Out process and debriefings.
