Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a traveling assignment in Vail, Colorado. This 13-week temporary position offers a weekly pay of $1,621–$1,660, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. You will support cardiovascular OR teams and assist during surgical procedures while ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

The ideal candidate must be a licensed Surgical Technologist with BLS certification and possess strong computer skills. Join us for a rewarding travel experience in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado is required.
• Must complete a Certified Surgical Technologist program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field.
• Apply sterile technique and verify packaging integrity.
• Ensure safe operating room environment and equipment functionality.
• Monitor sterile field for contamination and take corrective actions.
• Participate in Time Out processes and assist with patient transports.
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
