• 3 years of surgical technologist experience
• Diploma or certificate from a college or accredited technical school.
• Preferred 1 year of travel experience
• Preferred 5 years of surgical technologist experience

Aufgaben

• Supports OR specialties and may require on call coverage.
• Assists in setting up the surgical operating suite with instruments and supplies.
• Uses aseptic techniques and standard precautions; follows medication and specimen handling rules.
• Assists with preparing, positioning and draping patients; participates in the surgical pause to verify patient and site.
• Adapts to surgeon preference and contributes to updating preference materials.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Promotes cost efficiency and resource stewardship for patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
